Hai Phong: Administrative Penalties Issued to Two Businesses for Food Safety Violations
Hoa Binh Ward Police in Hai Phong City have penalized two food service establishments for failing to comply with food safety regulations.

The Hai Phong City Police Department recently announced that the Hoa Binh Ward Police have completed files and transferred two business establishments to local authorities for penalties following serious violations of food safety regulations. This inspection was conducted by the Ward Police in coordination with the Ward People's Committee to review compliance among food service providers in the area.

During the on-site inspection, authorities identified that two establishments owned by Mr. N.V.T (residing in Chung My residential group) and Mr. T.V.L (residing in Thuy Trieu residential group, Hoa Binh Ward) failed to meet food safety standards. Specifically, these facilities used solid waste collection tools without lids and lacked dedicated footwear for use within the food production area. These actions directly violate the provisions set forth in Decree No. 115/2018/NĐ-CP of the Government.

Based on the files provided by the police, the Hoa Binh Ward People's Committee issued administrative penalty decisions against both establishments, totaling 8 million VND. Following the incident, authorities are continuing to step up public awareness campaigns, requiring all business operators to strictly adhere to current legal regulations to protect public health and foster a healthy food business environment in the locality.
