According to the People's Committee of Hue City, Agoda recently unveiled a list of outstanding traditional culinary destinations in Asia, aiming to introduce travelers to regions that preserve their cultural identity through the art of gastronomy. According to the platform, cuisine is increasingly playing a vital role in the travel experience. Each dish carries not only a unique flavor profile but also the stories of the history, culture, and creativity of the local community.
Hue is highly regarded for its refined imperial cuisine—a legacy developed over centuries during the Nguyen Dynasty. The harmony of flavors, the meticulousness of preparation techniques, and the elaborate presentation have created a unique identity for the ancient capital's cuisine. Iconic specialties such as Bun Bo Hue, Banh Beo, Banh Khoai, and Banh Bot Loc are not only local pride but also contribute to spreading the values of Vietnamese culture to the world.
