Tran Thi Ngoc Lan has established the Hibiso perilla tea product line, aiming for sustainable exports and improved livelihoods for Vietnamese farmers. This journey began with a desire to combine traditional Oriental medicine knowledge with modern green living trends.

In August 2022, AnTo Tea Co., Ltd. was established with a vision to develop environmentally friendly herbal tea lines. By December 2022, Hibiso perilla tea—a blend of perilla leaves and hibiscus flowers—was officially launched, creating an impressive startup story within the organic agricultural sector.

Unlike traditional business models, Ms. Lan implements a collaborative value chain strategy. In this system, farmers participate through cooperatives that are closely linked with pharmaceutical entities to ensure the quality standards of the finished products.

Hibiso perilla tea has now established a foothold in the domestic market through beverage supply systems in office buildings and universities such as FPT and BUV. Internationally, the product is present in the Netherlands and South Korea, with ongoing efforts to expand into Germany, Australia, the UK, and the USA, targeting a revenue of $500,000 by 2027.

Beyond revenue, AnTo Tea's objective is to spread the message of 'Healthy Drinking - Green Living.' By building a brand based on quality and sustainable values, Hibiso perilla tea is becoming proof that 'Made in Vietnam' products can successfully conquer the most demanding global markets.
